Field tests!

👷🏾 Last week, partners ROBOPLANET and the Centre national de la recherche scientifique tested an innovative robot on the Cristal Union site (largest sugar site in Europe) in Bazancourt, France. A team of engineers and researchers was welcomed for tests in real conditions.

📍 During these tests, the CNRS successfully tested the 3-dimensional localisation of a magnetic robot using a Leica total station (high quality point clouds were captured in order to localise the crawler on the supporting structure)💻.

📍 ROBOPLANET has tested and validated a new autonomous wireless magnetic wall robot. The 3D localisation and autonomy of the robot will improve the reliability of the controls and prevent the risks associated with working at height during bin inspections.

🤝 The members of the BugWright2 project would like to thank Benjamin Darrigrand and the Cristal Union Bazancourt site for their welcome and their positive vision of safety and reliability innovations.
